The successful candidate will report to the Head of Large Enterprise Segment, and will be responsible for, inter alia, the following:
Key Responsibility: Business Development
Core Tasks:
- New business development: New logo’s
- Achieve new business and revenue/renewal targets.
- Maintain and grow revenue base line
- Complex Solution selling
- Pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
- Accelerate pipeline growth under cloud services
- Maintain and render exceptional customer excellence from pre-post sale
- Upsell and cross-sell all SEACOM offerings.
- Weekly, Monthly customer engagements
- Facilitate customer capability workshops.
- Attending conferences, and Enterprise key events
- Contract negotiation and commercials
- Account Planning
- Stakeholder Relationship building and maintenance
Generally do all such things which, although not specifically referred to herein, are necessary and/or required for the due, proper and efficient rendering of the services for the purposes contemplated by this role.
EDUCATION:
- Matric and Diploma in business administration, marketing. A technical degree in ICT or Telecoms is a plus.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in direct enterprise sales, key account management, or business development within the ICT sector, with a strong emphasis on Large Enterprise accounts.
- Onboarding new Enterprise logos’ to the minimum ACV value of value of $80 000/ R1.2M per annum.
- Proven track record of successfully onboarding, managing and growing accounts in Large Enterprise.
- Deep understanding of the how private sector Enterprise customers operate, including knowledge of procurement processes, regulations, and unique requirements.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Technology, including a solid understanding of Telecommunications infrastructure, networks, voice, cloud, cyber security services and solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills to develop account plans, identify growth opportunities, and anticipate customer needs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Adaptability, resilience, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex and dynamic environment.
