The successful candidate will report to the Finance Operations Manager , and will be responsible for, inter alia, the following:

Key Responsibility: Managing all incoming supplier invoices

Core Tasks:

• Receive invoices from suppliers
• Request invoices from suppliers
• Prepare invoices for processing after receipt from suppliers
• Managing the e-mail inbox to the agreed to standard

Key Responsibility: Ensure all supplier invoices are processed timeously

Core Tasks:

• Confirm receipt of goods or services in order to convert purchase order
• All invoices to be recorded within 72 hours of receipt
• Ensure that invoices are correctly billed and VAT compliant
• Seek & follow up approval of all supplier invoices

Key Responsibility: Processing payment of supplier invoices

Core Tasks:

• Ensure that all payments to suppliers are prepared by the deadline date
• All invoices to be fully approved before payment is prepared
• Payments to be prepared in line with the agreed method

Key Responsibility: Monitoring of clearing accounts

Core Tasks:

• Ensure that all clearing accounts have a NIL balance at the month end close off date

EDUCATION:

• Matric
• Studying towards a finance qualification
